Our story

From a Venetian handmade mask
to the best boutique “Akcenty”

It all started with a Christmas present, a handmade Venetian mask. Together with it, the Italian friend gave Olga Epifanova the idea of a place where one could collect many beautiful and original items from all over the world.

In 2007, the idea came true – Olga opened her first boutique, and in 2017 Chevalier by Akcenty opened its doors in Riga. Connoisseurs of beauty come here for authentic Limoges porcelain and Murano glass, designer jewelry and designer accessories, real Venetian masks and niche fragrances.

The range of “Chevalier by Akcenty” is extensive, but the philosophy is unchanged: beauty cannot be universal – it is individual. That is why there are no random things here. Everything – from luxurious necklaces and earrings to masterfully embroidered velvet toys, from designer scarves and gloves to fancy candlesticks and lamps – was carefully selected by Olga at reputable European exhibitions and directly in the workshops of French, Italian, German and Latvian artists.

“Chevalier by Akcenty” willingly shares with friends and clients the art of correctly and beautifully placing accents – we hold lectures on perfumery and fashion, meetings with the authors of the presented collections, displays of jewelry and accessories, and just holidays where people have fun.

Boutique “Le Chevalier by Akcenty” is a unique place which contains collections of designer jewelry, niche fragrances, designer interior items from more than thirty European masters, mainly from Italy and France and, of course, Latvia.

All items are handcrafted, often in small family-run ateliers, and combine ancient craftsmanship traditions with contemporary design and modern technology.

Most of the authors have been awarded the honorary title “Living Heritage of France”, two authors are holders of the Order of the Legion of Honor. Our authors collaborate with leading fashion houses, and among the owners of their works are such world celebrities as Elton John, Madonna, Catherine Deneuve, Steven Spielberg and many others.

“The next day I left Simferopol and on the way I thought about the need to love and pity people, at least good people. And sometimes you need to give them some gifts. And then those who give, and those who receive, feel great in their souls..

And those who do not give people anything, but instead present them with unpleasant surprises, have a gloomy and disgusting soul. Such people wither, and suffer from nervous eczema. Their memory is weakening, and the mind is darkened. And they die prematurely.

Good people, on the other hand, live extremely long and are in good health.”
