Patricia de Nicolai is a professional chemist and perfumer, a representative of the famous Guerlain dynasty (the brilliant author of Mitsouko, Vol de Nuit and Shalimar Jacques Guerlain is her great-grandfather’s brother, and the current elder of the House Jean Paul Guerlain is her uncle).
Since 1989, Patricia de Nicolai has been working for her own independent brand NICOLAI Parfumeur Createur, which she founded with the support of her husband, Jean-Louis Michaud. A personal laboratory and creative freedom have always been her dream, but the perfumer decided to realize it only after gaining serious experience in the Florasynth and Quest fragrance laboratories, side by side with her colleagues and mentors.
